Ever feel anxious about something? I know I have. I believe anxiety is unnecessary worry, anticipation of something that is not worth the anticipation, racy thoughts, fear of uncertainty...
According to Merriam-Webster, Anxiety is fear or nervousness about what might happen: a feeling of wanting to do something very much.
An anxious moment may be okay. An anxious way of living can develop into a problem. I've never experienced that but I've had some anxious moments and they're no fun. They can be overwhelming. I've learned overtime to relax and talk myself off the ledge. Before I began writing this, God spoke to me and said to be patient. Yep, I need to learn how to be patient and wait. That is a work in progress.
What are you feeling anxious about? Is it a matter of life and death? Is it something small? Is it a life plan? Just be patient. Take a deep breath. Have a little chat with yourself and move on. Being anxious will not make things happen faster other than you heartrate. Slow down, regroup and wait.
