Hmmm New Year Resolutions...

We are already well into the new year and many of us often make resolutions. If they help you, by all means make them and stick to them. I for one simply like to make sure that I'm going to do better and be better; aiming to be my best self. That said, are we trying to be our best healthy self? What did you promise yourself for 2018? Was health a part of your promise? If not, it's not too late. What can you do to make your physical health better? The holidays are over and it's time to get back on track. I'm no physician but I believe that we can eat just about anything in moderation; that is if we don't have a health condition that may restrict us. So, if you're a chip junky like I am or you love sweets more than you like food, why not just make the simple change of limiting them. Replace your afternoon chip or cake craving for a piece of fruit or some healthy nuts; as long as you're not allergic.

Aaaah the exercise promise...some love to work out, others see it as a chore. We know that exercise is great for us. It makes us feel better. So, start small there too. Park the car a distance away from the store or take a short walk on your lunch break. Do something and build up to it.

What physical health promise are you going to make to yourself and stick to? It's all about habit change. Try changing to a positive health habit for thirty days and make it a part of your lifestyle.

We can do it! Make the choice to be the best healthy you. Start now!
