Tanisha E. Tuck is a Christian who believes that God has blessed her to be a blessing through this movement. She is a Certified School Social Worker, Licensed Social Worker, and certified to supervise in the field of Education, grades K-12. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from Virginia Union University, Richmond, Virginia and a Master of Social Work from Fordham University, Lincoln Center, New York.

Tanisha displays an artistic expression through many types of writing and reciting poetry. Her poem entitled, “My Hair Is, Isn’t It”, is published in the Paterson Literary Review, Issue 45, 2017-2018. Her poetry and storytelling celebrate themes of God, culture, love, nature, romance, pain, heartache, passion and joy. It flows with a sense of grace and gentleness filled with fire and truth.
Tanisha uses her background and education in Psychology and Social Work along with her love for writing to communicate and reach the heart of women of all ages through Surrounded by W. E.L.L.N.E.S.S.
All of her life she has loved helping others. It has become her passion and she now knows that it is her gift. Over the years her gift has evolved and she has learned that she has a spirit for encouraging, uplifting and supporting women of all ages. It is her joy! She is blessed to be a blessing.
